Athlete and Spectator Parking

We strongly recommend that athletes stay overnight in Niagara Falls before the race and take the shuttle to the start in Welland. This will make for a less stressful day and provide you with a very easy way to head home after the race. There are plenty of hotels to choose from and most are only minutes away from the Upper Rapids parking area (aprox. 800m from the Finish), from where shuttle buses will be leaving to take you to Welland.

If you have friends and family coming they can drive you to Welland, cheer you on at our “Pit Stop” areas, then drive to Niagara Falls to park in the Upper Rapids parking area. The parking area is located right on the run course and less than a kilometer from the Finish. The $10 parking fee can be paid when you pick-up your race kit on Saturday in Welland or they can pay at the parking lot on race day. There will be IN/OUT privileges on race day. Sorry, spectators will not be able to use the shuttle bus service. Spectators can drive from Niagara Falls to Welland in approximately 20 minutes.
