Live interviews on Barrelman TV
If you have not had a chance to watch the Steve Fleck Barrelman TV interviews you might want to check them out. Great interviews and very insightful!
The latest is with Greg Cowan, CEO of F2C Nutrition
“We’re science driven”
Greg dives deep into his findings about mistakes people make in the days leading up to the race, Glyco-Durance on the Barrelman course, and the F2C gel launch coming to market this year.
Lynda Gingras – Club Bionick
Sophie Hotchkiss – Endura Performance
Michael Smith – President of Rochester Area Triathletes a.k.a RATs from Rochester, NY
Speaking of tracking here is a bit more information on the Sportstats Timing App where your loved ones can see how you are doing during the race. The APP is very intuitive with some very cool features. Once the race start athlete info will pop up on the map and when they hit a timing mat they will move at the same speed going forward. This includes predicting their time at the next timing mat. For our non-metric U.S. athletes you can view the distances in kilometres, miles or both.
Photography On Course
FinishersPix/Zoom Photo is once again the Official Photographer of Barrelman Niagara Falls. Their photographers will be positioned in various locations on the course. The best part is that MultiSport Canada is paying to have the pictures available for FREE after the race. Please be sure you have your number visible at all times (on the FRONT of your bike helmet for cycling photos and on the front of your body when running). Visit the Barrelman photo page and register your email address to be notified as soon as your photos are online.
Post Race Food, Beer Garden and
For post race we will have a choice of a turkey or veggie wrap along with with a pop, Martin’s Apple, whole bananas and granola bars. We will also have a water bottle fill station as well.
